About Jazz and Conversations

The promotion of African Jazz across the globe is the mission of PF Music Group.

Jazz and Conversations, it’s brand name began life as a jazz radio show in Oct 2016. The radio show is now 2hours of the best of jazz by African musicians on the continent and in diaspora on Saturday nights from 9-11pm WAT .

There are plans to expand the scope of services and reach of the PF Music Group in the near future..

Our prime directives (PCBCP) are:

• Promoting Jazz music by African musicians from the continent & by those based abroad,
• Creating awareness of the incredibly creative musicians themselves
• Building bridges for collaboration across the continent
• Creating a hub for engagement and conversation between African jazz artists on the continent and in diaspora, with their fanbase,
  and last, but not least,
• Promoting the recognition of African Jazz as a legitimate jazz genre, and not as World Music

African Jazz is where the new sounds of jazz are being created, with our musicians fusing jazz idioms with the diverse culture, instruments and music that are the bedrock on which Africa communicates with her people…
